new idea: Self learners network.

My first idea of 2012 is to create a self learners network.

A realize that a lot of people decide to learn a new skill by themselves. While this is a valid path, it's not rare to find people giving up or feeling kind of lost.

Basically it would connect people that are learning the same subject... Maybe with a rating system to help you define your current knowledge level. But I'm not sure how it would be possible.

Anyway, how does this idea sound?

As always I appreciate any kind of honest critics.
