Hey guys!
I am new to this forum.
A quick intro:
I am Ben, 27 years old from Hamburg, Germany. I have been working 9-5 as a sales representative of a wood working/ timber company for a bit more than 2 years now which is alright but does not really satisfy me.
So, to compensate, I have started sourcing broken bikes about a year ago, fixed and resold them as a side hustle. That started as a hobby with around 300-500€ revenue per month. I kept reinvesting the money to purchase better bikes. That developed into my current niche, vintage race bikes. I currently buy and resell around 15-20 of them per month which leaves me with a revenue of around 3000€ per month and profit before tax of around 1500€. That is some quite nice pocket money on the side but by far not enough to quit my 9-5 job.
Basically, I came here to exchange some ideas on how to scale my business (since good vintage race bikes are a limited resource) or which products I might add to my portfolio (such as vintage furniture, electronics, collectibles, antiques etc.)
Maybe there are some people here who have done similar things or would like to exchange some ideas
