Need advice getting more traffic/sales

So a few months back I purchased a company that dropships bmw parts online, autobahnbmwparts.com. The site is hosted through ProStores, and ProStores shows we get around 5k visits/month but according to google analytics we only get about 1.3k.

I just recently added the conversion tracking to it, which puts us at a 0.32% conversion rate, compared to prostores which gives us a 0.14%.

We are working on increasing sales. We are doing small things to increase our conversion rate and keep visitors on our website longer and also view more pages, but we are also looking to increase our traffic as well to bring in more sales.

Below is a picture of our google analytics for the past month. A majority of our visitors come from organic search, but most from bing and yahoo, because our domain was hit with the panda and penguin update a year ago or so which put us in the 300's for the search term 'bmw parts'. Because of that, a few people here recommended that we start with a brand new domain name and just rebuild it and have our current domain link to our new one, but wouldnt this swipe out all of our current search traffic and search positions in all the search engines?

Also, if anyone has any ideas or advice for keeping visitors longer and increasing our current conversion rate it would be much appreciated. We do things such as email marketing and forum sponsoring but all our visits seem to enter the website and leave within the first 30 seconds or so.
