First, although I joined yesterday I would like to thank each and every contributor to this forum. I have been reading your stories and posts for months now. I have learned a great deal from all of you, especially you MJ. I look forward to your book by the way
I am 24 and changing lanes. Well my thought process actually changed lanes many years ago when I decided whoring my life to 'the man' wasn't going to get me where I want to be in life: financially independent, an employer (vs employee), and most importantly the controller of how I spend my time. I want to be wealthy when I'm 28 so I can actually enjoy my younger years rather than slaving to the rich. That is what brought me here to Fastlane!
I have read numerous books (some of questionable author credibility) about creating wealth in real estate and entrepreneurship. However I am still very much a student formulating a plan to put to action by year's end. It is priceless to me to actually communicate with those who have 'been there and done that', so to speak. All of you have been incredibly helpful as I am learning from your lessons and mistakes and successes. Thanks again to all the members of Fastlane!
