Hello Everyone ,
My name is omer I am 19 years old from Sudan (African country )
And here is my story...
Since I was a kid I wanted to become an enterperneur, have my own business.
but I buried that dream back in my head, why? because I live in a country where it's forbidden to even say "I want to have my own business", or "I want to get rich, and get out of this poor country ", if you happen to say these words every one will look at you as an idiot(believe me I try it).
I life in a country where the highest paid per month is between $500 to $600!
So, most people here except that to be their own reality. In fact if you ask people on my age here about what they wanna do with their lives, they will say (I don't know man, I just want to finish college and I "hope" to get a job )
As I said I buried that dream back in my head, but I never stop reading or watching stories about people who achieved their dreams, fullfile their potentials.
So, what happen is that 12 month ago I was watching a YouTube video about a 24 years old who achieved his dream of becoming a millionaire. I don't know why but that video relive my dream again.
So, I decided to take my first step and created an Instagram them pages (i.e. It's a niche pages specialized in posting content on a specific niche). I made a few hundred bucks doing so. But for me that was not enough , I wanted more. (what can I say, I am a really greedy guy).
And that when I know about Copywriting and it seemed like the perfect business for me.
since I was a kid I really liked writing, i was literally taken books and rewrite them on my hand. So by the middle of April I started reading about Copywriting. But here's the problem..
I was just consuming content, and I never put pen on paper,
why??..
Because I was really a fraid and given excuses such as..
My English is really bad.. (by the way do you have struggling reading my post, if so please correct me, I will be really grateful )
What happen after that about 12 days a go i started to feel regret about all that time I wasted consuming and not applying anything.
So I started practicing putting pen on paper, but I never got any client. So I decided to make a post and telling you about my goals, which i will show it to you in a second (I think this will make me committed to applying it).
So here's my goals for the :
First, I am going to make $1000 by jun28 by helping clients write better emails and products descriptions that brig them more sales ( and yes that's 25 days from now).
Second, I want to collect enough money and move out of this country as soon as possible. Why?? Because the weather is soo hot on summer here in fact a Google search tough me that the average temperatures in summer is 42°C (108°Fahrenheit).
Third, I want to move to New Zealand by next year, I didn't decide which city specifically but I am between Christchurch or Auckland. (I think this belongs to the second goal, but I prefer to give it a separate section.)
Forth, I want to make $100k by end of October this year. As crazy this seems, the more I believe it's possible. I believe if I go for it with commitment and consistent action I will make it happen. I don't know how, but I believe it's totally achievable.
Anyway, that all what I have for now, I will be updating about this consistently.
And by the way, My mind is so closed that it took me more than 2 hours to write this post, so I will be thankful for any advice about Copywriting, life, business...
