My first joint venture

Well, I'm finally taking action and have come up with what I think is a pretty good idea. (I will share once I secure the sites).

This venture involves a partner.

My role: Provide all the startup and operating capital (nothing significant, a few hundred dollars max), plus day to day site operations, marketing, etc.

My partner's role: content writing

My question is, what percentage of this venture should I own seeing as I'm paying the entire cost?

Should I give him something like 20% up front, but he has to promise in writing to sell those shares back to me at an agreed upon price by a set date? (at which point he becomes my employee)
