As written in my Intro Thread (here), I have a side hustle and I'd like to hear some advice.

Last year, I started to buy and sell Trading cards.

My business model is to buy collections on the internet, flip through them and sell the expensive cards individual or in bulk.

For the singles, I sell them on a platform, where you easily can put the cards on (it takes maybe 10 seconds per card).
When the card is sold, you have to pay 5% of the price for fee.

I also sell bulk cards on ebay or the german version of Craigslist.

But there are some difficulties:
When there are no good collections, I don't have anything to buy and on result, nothing to sell,
I'm always dependent on the secondary market.
Furthermore, it may take a few weeks/months to sell the cards, if they even sell at all.

One option would be to become a official vendor and to buy sealed product from the TCG distributor.

Per month I make something around 300 - 500 Euro, which is nice to earn some money, but nowhere near to make a living or even fastlane.

I know, that the trading card business is a niche market, with not so many potential customers,
but there are a lot of traders, who are in business for years.

I was wondering, if I should pursue with my "business" or if I'm just dreaming to make it.

Thanks
