I see that coupon usage is going up and a few mobile coupon apps rolling out using gps and local search etc... the problem is getting enough businesses signed up for critical mass to offer value to consumer. Number one complaint by consumers is "they work great but little or no coupons in my area." Slick ideas and easy interfaces for mobile apps but the content just isn't there yet.
I was thinking maybe partnering with some major advertising companies who already "touch" the retailer customer but would always be vulnerable to them doing it in-house.
Any Fastlane ideas to overcome this challenge to build retailer participation and coupon content quickly?
