The question is to you because I know indefinitely that you did this from your success story, but for all the others that are less know I would like your inout as well.

1) What made you pick building websites and coding BEFORE you had an idea. It seems that you first got good at making sites BEFORE you had your idea in place. Please correct me if I am wrong.

The reason I am asking is this: I don't currently have any online business / PLAN, but I feel that I am leaning more towards an online model rather than a B&M model. Is it worthwhile to learn to code sites from scratch and all the other things that are involved?

I seem to think (and this may just be the way I am seeing it) that a lot of the successful online businesses, I read about were developed by people who made the site or model online by themselves.

I'm looking to get ideas from those of you that have "been there".
