I think someone posted about mind movies recently, both the ideology, and a company.
I think it's a good idea if it doesn't rob too much from efficiency of focus, which is technically the whole point.
In response to those threads, "it all starts in your mind," and others related, here's a quick way you can make a virtual vision board (mind movie as well), free or paid, in a short amount of time.
Just as you would gather thoughts and images for a vision board, do it electronically. You may already have the media of your choice, but if not, browse the web and save it to your hard drive. http://www.sxc.hu/ is a stock photo site you can use to gather royalty free photos. The more prominent Istockphoto and others will have what you need if you don't find it there. (royalty free images/media are precautionary, should you decide to take your work public at some point in time.)
Use a service like Animoto.com to create them. Thirty seconds or less is free, and for a low fee you get length and options.
Now you can create something to engrave whatever message you're trying to work on in about fifteen minutes. Very personalized, endless options, and you can make it part of your morning ritual to watch everyday.
