I'm new to the forum and have already read some very inspirational and educational posts on here. I found the forum randomly by googling "mastermind group orange county" and came across a post on here.
The reason why I was searching for a group is because I recently made the move from Canada down to sunny California. Given that it's super important to surround yourself with like-minded people (you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with), I wanted to see if there were other entrepreneurs in the SoCal area who wanted to start a mastermind? Or if anyone has a mastermind and is accepting members, I'd love to join.
A little bit about me: I started investing in real estate when I graduated from school, even dabbled in a house flip (just for the experience) before realizing that the Canadian real estate market was way too hot. After a few years of working in corporate, I founded a tech startup, raised some money, went through an accelerator, and worked on that for a year and a half before moving down to sunny California. I'm no longer working on the startup but gained HUGE experiences working on it (at one point we had 6 people working with us). Currently, I'm testing out new ideas and working on passive income streams (affiliate marketing and amazon). The startup took a lot of energy out of me and I took a couple months off to reflect on my failures (not really failures, but learned tuition) and to think about what I want to do next as an entrepreneur.
The last 5 books I've read are: Moonwalking with Einstein, Think and Grow Rich (for the third time), Morning Star, Made to Stick, and Essentialisms.
Look forward to hearing from you guys. I'm also looking forward to contributing and learning from everyone.
