hey guys, new member and finished reader of unscripted and MFL...
Ive been in business now for over 5 years ranging from the illegal as a teenager (silly choices, bad environment), to drop shipping online, my current personal training business and online coaching. After reading i understood even more so how important it was to separate our time from our income...

Im in the process of developing a website to market personal trainers to the general public including a rating system where finding your trainer will be a much easier process.

Similar to MJ when he started the limo company online.
I wanted to ask, does it make sense to market online to the business you want to attract or the customers of that business. i.e. do i market to the trainers that will pay for the site first, or do i market to the consumers who will be choosing from said trainers first ? or both ?

would love to hear any and all opinions

If you structure this business smartly you would end up marketing to both, as they can both be a source of revenue for you. This should inform the design decisions you make on the site too. Think of features and benefits for both audiences.
