my name is Antonio. I am an Italian guy recently moved to the United States.
Before posting this, I was observing the forum and reading some of its posts, enjoying the positive environment which has been developed. I haven't separated my time on Earth being related to money yet, but a start is kind of a step in that direction, right?
I remember when I wanted to become an entrepreneur: it was long time ago, I was having a nice dinner with my ex-girlfriend, telling her that my dream was to be an entrepreneur to be able to have his employees to care about their families. I was young and maybe inspired by some old stories of old guys who made it down there in my land.
None of that eventually happened, and I ended up in the slowlane and I thought I was enjoying my life.
Until I realized one thing in a very single moment, and something began to burn inside me. Later on, reading Unscripted , I ended up translating that moment in its correct definition, my FTE, and I understood something. I understood that I was wrong and I was happy to be wrong. (I don't know yet if there's a thread for users FTEs in the forum, is it too personal stuff?)
Now I am in the USA, working for the slowlane company which wanted me here and trying to create my own path through a parallel business I started in Italy (like the Italian version of an LLC); I am figuring how Italy and US are different in the vision of entrepreneurship, though.
I am also working on new projects and ideas, in the meanwhile I stabilize my situation here in the US. I found myself enjoying the process behind the construction of ideas and projects, even though I haven't received a penny from them, yet.
I'd leave my introduction with a question related to a topic which also appeared in MJ's books: is it okay to use the slowlane as a rocket for the fastlane? or it is just a rocket in disguise and it consumes energies for the real goal of one's own fastlane path?
