Hope this can inspire someone here.

I looked into this as a source of income a few years ago. It seems like owning a business that works with financial institutions to test their site security would be lucrative. Also, maybe a liability nightmare.

I been doing that . Bug bounty. Too much stress and need to set and scan for couple days to find a bug. And update your skills every day. A skilled 20 y old cann enjoy setting 12 hours a day finding bugs. In 2015 i contacted firefox about a remote code execution. Got 3500 dolars. Things more better now.still slow line work. And hard to scale /only if open your sec it or sell sec solution. Saas..... long story here.... i focuse on e marketing more profitable.
