I need some advice. I own an online business. I sell clicks. This means I have my own list of subscribers (in this case, they are all in the make money online/bizopp/work from home niche) that I mail daily with product owners' or other list builders' offers. These product owners or list builders pay me let's say $200. And I guarantee that 500 of my subs will click on the link in my email. That link points to my customers product or offer. Whether the sub opts-in or buys my customer's offer is not my responsibility. I just guarantee the clicks.
For MLM'ers, product owners, or list builders, this is a down and dirty, quick way to generate leads and maybe grab a sale or two. For me, its a good way to average about $200 a day.
I charge .40 a click and based on the size of my list and its response to my emails I can deliver 500 clicks a day. I am limited to the amount of money I can make daily. I always continue to build my list whether it is through buying leads or free methods but it is time consuming and growth has slowed. As has my customer base. More and more people are jumping in this biz. More scammers more shortcuts, poorer quality leads.
However what I am looking to do is somehow is teach this method. There are others in my industry charging thousands for coaching.
What I'd like to do is automate the training. First, I can leverage my list by offering the tens of thousands of subs I have, a chance to join my membership site. I could have different levels of membership. Cheapest package gets access to all the videos and pdfs and I'll answer through email any questions they may have. Next package gets a once a week group call where I can address their issues and concerns. Third package is one on one.
Now some of my peers are charging 4K for this training. I don't expect many of those. But if everyone pays like $100 a month or $500 for unlimited access to package 1 I'll have more people buying in and that is all hands off for me.
Of course, I'd rather make it so it is recurring but when I got into this bizI paid someone one lump sum, they taught me everything and off I went. I made my money back in a month.
My questions are varied:
1. I don't want to be one of those "gurus" who spout BS take their money and can't deliver. Then again I gave it my all to get to 6K a month. My fear is, I want my "students" to succeed. IS this a valid concern?
2. Any suggestions on easy membership sites that I could use that is geared to content/information delivery? could be wordpress plugin.
3. Is my thinking sound as far as leveraging this business into something else? Anyone else have ideas of how or what I can do with my lists and 5 years of online experience?
