I understand that this is going to be a process. And likely there will be some mistakes made along the way. But thats ok, its going to be a learning experience. Heres what I'm trying to avoid. A years worth of work, only to find out I've hit some sort of peak or limit, and the only way to get around that glass ceiling is to start over.
Heres what my goals are. I have a similar idea that MJ had with his limo business. My idea also focuses on lead generation but obviously in a much different field. So here are my questions:
1) Can a site like this work with a website builder or would it be best coded on something like dreamweaver?
Obviously the pros of website builders are that everyone can use them and the learning curve is much less steep. Learning Dreamweaver start to finish with very little html knowledge is going to take some time.
2) How would a business like this function internally?
Its sounds vague but what I mean is this. After having the website up and running, how would you keep track of leads and such? In my research thus far I've seen some affiliate marketing sites which kind of act as a mediator in between 2 sides. Thats what I'm looking for but I'm not sure if these sites are what I'm looking for. Are there any companies out there which allow you to use their software or whatever it might be, and keep track of leads and finances? Basically a company that says, "Here is the $ you get for generating the lead, here is the $ you get for having a chance to close the lead, and heres what we get for doing your finances!"
And of course whatever other general advice you may having on running such a site is appreciated. Ive been doing alot of research on this but feel like I need to be nudged in a slightly different direction.
Thanks for in advance for those who reply!
