Looking for hot new products to sell in Europe

One of the small businesses that I am involved in is looking for new products from small or middle-sized companies in North America that we can start selling in the Netherlands. Ideally it should be a consumer product in a retail price range of the equivalent of $ 25 to $ 50, for which shipping from the North America to individual consumers in Europe is too expensive.

Can you recommend one or more reliable websites that we can use to stay up to date with the new product trends in the US and Canada?

Try this site. Lisa Suttora is supposed to be a leader in product research and is accredited through E-Bay University (I believe). I've not used her program but it might be a good place to start.
