Hello everyone,
I just joined the forum and I am excited. We have a family construction type business that I have been trying to grow for years, while simultaneously setting it up so it isn't dependent on me. We take 2 steps forward and 1 step back. It is very seasonal, which has proven difficult to keep good employees.

After listening to Millionaire Fastlane , I have confirmed my suspicions that there may be better ventures to invest my time towards. Ones that will produce more fruit that I can every expect from our current business. The hard part is I grew up in the business, second generation, and purchased it from my parents about 8 years ago. They still work in it and so do my wife and I. I can't imagine what other type of business I would run at this point, but I know I will be stuck in the slowlane if I don't find something else to do.

We have young children and after working crazy hours last year, I am burnt out. I am sitting in a coffee shop working now and am a little nervous about the idea of giving up another 4 years of my life to start another company. Until I read this book, I felt like I was finally getting to where I could step away from work a little to spend more time with the kids while they are young.

I am not really sure where to begin. Any help from those who have been in my position would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, forum.

I am not really sure where to begin.

Read my next book as it outlines more specific strategies in getting started. Pay particular attention to the parts about value arrays/attributes and competitions -- that's how you get into the game.

Welcome aboard!
