Jordan Peterson is creating own online university to destroy college “indoctrination cults”/Marxism

This is all based on the assumption that brainwashing happens during college and that's incorrect, because young people are already biased before accessing any University.

When they're there their beliefs are only reinforced by either alignment or juxtaposition with whatever is preached.

What this "online college" will do is attract like-minded people, it won't combat indoctrination in any way shape or form.

If you preach Marxism and socialism after the horrors of the past century or refuse to acknowledge that men and women are intrinsically different, you're no better than a flat-earth crank and you don't deserve to make a living producing and disseminating ideas.

Social sciences departments in universities are CULTS!!

Cults take advantage of miserable, weak-minded people, and tell them the source of their unhappiness is X. So leave X behind and the cult will take care of you, then you can finally be happy!

I have seen A LOT of people who've gone to universities and come out different people. They start having Western culture, hating themselves, hating the country they live in and only surround themselves with like-minded sheep because they're so preachy no other ration person can stand their presence.

No seriously, SEVERAL people have cut contact with me because I ain't down with their toxic SJW agenda.

Now I don't agree with EVERYTHING JP says, but I commend him for bringing an alternative viewpoint to what academics is these days.

First: I have been making substantial progress on the online university project (and devoting Patreon support to that end). I have three very sharp people working on it, with a minimal product already sketched out and a sold developmental plan outlined. Imagine that university has two primary functions: assessment/accreditation, and education proper. We are trying to address both simultaneously, tying assessment/accreditation tightly to the education process itself.​
