Hi there, I'm Mario! Happy to be here and interact with other entrepreneurs. One of the first books I read at the beginning of my journey was The Millionaire Fastlane , and I really enjoyed it because it gave me practical advice (which I always appreciate) and, more importantly, opened my mind to the possibility of entrepreneurship as a path. Not an easy one, of course, but a fulfilling one.
Sharing a bit of my journey: I went through a normal life (college, work, chasing money, etc.) where I simply did as I was told by those around me, just like I'd learned from school and society. I thought that would be enough; I was wrong. It wasn't until I had a sobering moment, while unemployed, when I realized: "This isn't the life I wanted". I wanted to do my own thing. I had to learn that my life was my own, and I was the one who had to take charge of it (funny, right?). This all led me to burnout and depression, spiritual & inner growth, deciding to be an entrepreneur (with conviction), and learning a lot of new stuff along the way. And so, here I am today—one "failed" business so far (we don't fail until we give up), and a second one underway.
Thank you for reading my introduction. Thanks, M. J. DeMarco, for creating a great community and such insightful literature. To those who've read this far, I wish you well on your journey and hope you find the success or fulfillment you are striving towards. Life goes by so fast, so let's make the most of it.
