Introducing myself

Hi Everyone! I'm Teresa. I am an entrepreneur, dancer, author, and writer. I live in New York City and am currently building a business. I am also looking to develop an app. I discovered this forum like many of you. I listened to "Millionaire Fastlane " and the book along with other factors encouraged me to quit my corporate job. I am working at a restaurant and figuring out how to make it in business. I just got engaged and turned 44 so I have many reasons to be motivated to be successful asap!! I look forward to being here!

I did not have a safety net or business in place and have struggled. The environment at my previous job was terrible and I have gotten my mental health back. I am currently looking for a safety net since restaurant work doesn't pay well. I have looked at side hustles but haven't decided on one that is reliable. I may return to corporate temporarily while building my business. My fiance and I are supporting and encouraging each other in business so I am grateful for that. I know it will happen but will be a long process.
