Hey guys,
So I wanted to formally introduce myself to this forum as I've seen a few my age do the same.
I'm currently 17 and I discovered the Millionaire fastlane I'd say just over a year ago. Prior to that I was following Instagram pages and reading books that promoted the typical get rich scheme of getting into real estate, investing into stocks and earning passive income among other similar practices I'm sure you're all familiar with. I eventually found the Millionaire fastlane and was intrigued by the blunt and brutally honest perspective that MJ gave. I then quickly read his other books including the great rat race escape and thought to myself that this is the path that I'd like to pursue in life. This actually coincided around the time when corona first hit and in the first lockdown for my country (UK) it lasted around 6 months and in that time I essentially turned my life around. I became much more disciplined in all aspects. I bettered my health to a very vast extent and essentially reprogrammed my mind. I became an entirely different individual. After establishing that I'd like to follow this path and assuring myself that I could do it given the way I changed my character and became far more optimistic, hardworking and disciplined. The first "step" I took was to start dedicating myself to learning an in demand skill to ultimately utilise as a side hustle and guess what i went for? Coding of course. On average, I've spent an hour each day for the past year and a bit to learning coding and I've went from knowing 0 about coding to building pretty decent webpages, albeit only a couple. I don't particularly feel passion when coding but i do like reaching a new milestone and it can be pretty fun to practice. Due to this im questioning whether i should fully immerse myself into this field and specialise or fill a "niche". Right now i'm pretty on the fence. Apart from that, I guess the current ways im progressing towards a fastlane life is im in pursuit of a weekend job to gain invaluable real life experience and understand what it means to work and provide value to people, i'm taking an enterprise course at my sixth form/college that does reaffirm that i must provide value and i've started to participate in this forum.
Thank you for reading, i would greatly appreciate any comments you have no matter how small and i'm looking forward to becoming an active part of this forum
