Hello my name is Itai
I'm 16 years old and I'm from Ukraine but I had to immigrate to the UK in 2014 due to the annexation of Crimea
Without knowing anything about England(language etc) it was very hard growing up
I learned the language fluently quite fast
I was doing great in school and got an invitation to a private school because of my achievements
My parents were super proud of me
But
I got into drugs, alcohol, etc, causing me to not care about anything at all
I got kicked out of the prestige school and had no motivation for life(at such a young age)
My parents now thought I was a failure
This horrible situation turned into an opportunity
As I didn't have a school(I was doing homeschool work but not much) I had basically unlimited free time
I realized that if I did nothing now, my life would be practically over(age 15)
So I got into learning, not learning what the education system teaches but everything about money(marketing, business, finance, etc)
Now I am 16 read a book a week, work out and my life is better than ever.
I'm on here to ask for advice and help
What should I study?
What books should I read?
Who should I learn from?
And do you think I made the right decision?
