Thanks so much Aaron. :)
is it ok if i rotate through 2000 hashtags 30 at a time?
I am uploading 7-9 photos a day
I am wondering if it will be necessary though. Maybe I should just find the best 30 tags and use those every time?

Also I found this Aaron, could help your students with hiding tags
http://www.itchban.com/blog/2015/10/28/how-to-hide-hashtags-on-instagram

you just do this before your tags (5 dots)
.
.
.
.
.
[HASHTAG]#tags[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#tagexample[/HASHTAG]

Appologies for the late reply - been double busy.

I would just use 30 of the best hashtags in your category and maybe have 3 different sets of completely different hashtags to alter through if you really want to test different hashtags.

Also how come so many photos? Can throw people off following you. Best area is from 2 to 4 a day.

And hey that's a really neat trick with the dots. 100% going to be applying that from now on - man there such simple things hidden on this application.

Wow, my page is exploding. It's been maybe around 6-7 weeks and I have over 7k followers. I need to start thinking about monetizing at this rate.

Thanks so much Aaron. your advice seems to be true the account i put random hashtags is not growing but one of my ones with 30 good ones every time is growing at 100 per day at least so far..

I think i will lower the photo amount too.. thank you for that recommendation and in general. you have been very helpful to me :) highly recommend his courses.

so.. hows it going? so far 4 of my accounts were banned. but i think it was because i was putting the same caption in each photo..
now im up to 24 accounts. only about 12k followers total though. but i am raising the follows and likes slowly because i dont want them banned.. i have them all uploading pictures on autopilot. i took the photos from other accounts in the same niche using followlikers scraping ability and put them all in one folder and post them randomly 2-3 times a day with FL. I am in the MMO niche so im looking for something promote for that.

Great thread. Thanks for all the informative posts to everyone.

I'm having trouble with automating content posting from followliker for both Instagram and Twitter.

For Instagram:

In particular around tagging the content owner. If you enter into the default caption <@owner> it tags the owner but keeps their original post text as well. There is no way to tag owner and custom write your own text - it seems to be one or the other. Correct me if i'm wrong? I messaged followliker and they recommended manually editing each post to remove the original content - this kind of defeats the purpose of automation in my opinion. You all seem like followliker gurus - any tips? How are you guys solving this? I definitely don't want to post content that's not credited to the owner....

For Twitter:

With Twitter automating content from rss feeds in followliker if any feeds are from feedburner reader it seems to post 'feedproxy.com' before the link. Anyone know a way to remove this? I have gone with the approach of just not using feedburner rss feeds but so many have this that it's quite limiting. Also, it will occasionally just pull random words such as '24 hour post' and post those rather than the actual content - these are from prominent rss feeds such as huffpost etc so doubt it's an issue with the feed - must be how followliker crawls the content.

Hoping to get your thoughts / feedback? Thanks in advance.

I can only answer for Instagram, since I have no idea about Twitter.
This may not be the answer you were looking for, @dan easton but I simply do not tag people in photos.
The reason being is, that the majority of people who look at my post simply look at the photo and then if they are interested in the photo, they will read the description. The description is where I give my credit.

E.g - Dang! @DiverBoy123 caught a huge lobster! Mad props, dude!

or

Dang! I wouldn't mind catching a lobster like that!
Photo: @DiverBoy123

Those are my two templates for giving photo credit to the owner.

Another reason why I choose this route is because I have heard through the grape vines that if you tag a photo of someone you are not following, you COULD be flagged for spam.

It very well could be untrue, but I do not plan on taking any risks, so I simply stay away from tagging photos.

Hope my answer helped!

Thanks for the quick response and sorry I may not have explained myself well - by tagging I did not mean in the photo but exactly what you are doing - in the caption. How do you automate that in Followliker? I can't customise the text AND tag the owner...

To put it another way what I am trying to achieve is a way to tag the owner in the caption while deleting their caption text and inputing my own caption text. There doesn't seem to be a way to do both of these in FollowLiker. You can customise the text to what you want or you can tag the owner but you can't customise the text and tag the owner in the caption. Is this correct? If so, how have you overcome this?

Sorry for all these newb questions :p

I wouldn't say these a noob questions :)
I'll have to be honest. I have never automated my account to your extent. I manually enter in all my photos and manually type each description. In that sense, all you have to do is just type @Name
However, I assume you are scraping photos from Instagram and then you are deleting what they wrote and adding a generic text line plus their username without ever actually touching the photo. Is that correct?

I'd try and push FollowLiker support a bit and demand a straight answer from them. You're definatly charting into territory that is not so common for myself!

100% because of the same captions (it looks spammy). Avoid looking like a robot/bot = less likely to be banned.

Having multiple accounts in the one project seems to slow each account from reaching their daily targets. In general settings I have set automation interval as 1 second so not sure why this is happening.....

Try and open multiple projects. To be honest, I run 3 projects at all time and I only have 2 accounts. One for liking(2 different projects) and one combined project for photo sharing. If you have a lot of accounts I don't recommend doing 1 per project, but maybe try and spread them out so they are not limiting each other.

I have the same problem, I am running 7 accounts and no matter what settings I change I can't get them to keep up to the limits I put.

I have 3 accounts that are doing 500-700 follows a day, 1300-1600 likes, and they always do the follows first and I end up with like 400-600 likes by the time the day is over.

Other 4 accounts are more like 300-500 follows, 600-900 likes and they max out around 5-7 PM for me.

All the accounts are scraping users, scraping photos, following and liking with shuffle tasks checked.

Thanks man. I'll try that. It's strange because I thought that having multiple accounts shouldn't limit others as they run autonomously to each other supposedly but in practice they definitely appear to slow each other down.

Are you allowing them to run from 12AM - 12AM or are you giving them time restraints?

I would be surprised if you could not reach your limit if you split up the work between 3 projects(2/2/3 accounts per project) and allowed them to run for the majority of the 24 hour day. I do not prefer to have F.L running 24/7 but rather give time restraints from 10AM to 11PM. You can obviously allow for more or less time, but just make it look to IG that your account sleeps.

I have them running 24/7. Although some of the accounts finish earlier in the day so they aren't going 24/7.

I have the same problem, can only add a couple of words beside <@owner> , everything else is taken from the original post :(
I also have another problem with the "Crawl" process, in the "RSS URL" I enter several accounts to take the content from, however it looks like all the contents are taken only from the first account at the top of the list. I have the "Randomize" photo/video sharing option ticked, so I don't understand why this is happening, any idea?

How are the accounts going? I've got one up to 18k from 0 using instagress. From reading this thread, it sounds like followliker you can download a bunch of pictures and have it post from a folder of them? Instagress I've had to manually post each one with Gramblr.

It's a little strange seeing accounts with over 6k followers and no likes on their tweets.

Subsequently, their followers have a large amount following and no likes on their tweets. They also retweet accounts tweets with many likes and retweets.

In conclusion, I lose faith in all of these accounts, primarily the people with over 6k followers and no likes. What are the causes of this and how do I avoid it?

I'm not to firmiliar with Twitter. I do know that Twitter does not have very good interaction rates per follower. I decided against starting a twitter account because of this. The amount of tweets that get sent out per day by some account is crazy, though large numbers of tweets per day is considered normal. People don't usually have time to read each one of the little messages that someone posts.
However, Instag ram on average has there people posting photos much less often. A person posting more than 3 photos a day could be though of as "spammy." A person is much more likely to interact with 3 photos that are eye catching than 10 or 20 blocks of text.

If I had 6,000 followers on Twitter I would honestly not expect to have a large interaction yet. However, my 6,000 follower account on Instagram gets on average 300-400 likes per photo.

Might I add that Snapchats interaction rates are even HIGHER than Instagram xD

How are the comments like using followgram?

I'm not quite sure what followgram is to be honest.

In the event that you meant Followliker, rather than followgram, I get a decent amount of comments. It really depends on the content I post. For instance, just last night I posted a video on my hot girls account. It has only gotten like 300 views and about 50% converted into likes and I already have 10+ comments, which is abnormal for me to get on any photo. I gain a lot of likes on my photos, but my videos bring in just as many likes and more comments.

Maybe that helped answer your question, if not, let me know!

Mikkel,

Have you been able to do well on selling products through instagram

If you ask in about 1 month I should be able to tell you :)

I have been falling a bit behind. My GFX is a bit slow in terms of both logo and graphics for our products. However, she is a personal friend of mine who I trust will do her best work so I chose to stick with her.

I changed my original angle due to helpful insight from a fellow Fastlaner. So things may take slightly longer than I had hoped, but none the less, my followers aren't going anywhere and are only growing so it is not the worst thing in the world. However, I am eager to release my products.

Once I release my products I will post an update

Congratulations @Oren112 :)

I'm pumped you already got some sales! I don't know about you, but I hope to release about 5 t-shirt concepts, see which ones bite, cut out the rest and get back to the drawing board with new t-shirts. I'd like to have a solid selection of 5 t-shirts to start out with.

Mikkel, for me as long as you design your own items you will be way better off.

This is very true, I need to find something unique about my shirts that I can present and just run with it. It will take some brainstorming, but I have a few creative friends that live for this stuff, so I am going to sit down with them and come up with some ideas.

Thank you for pointing this out though!

Congrats with selling some shirts already though! Are you going back to the drawing board and trying to find something new to present?
