Just looking for some advice from my fellow fastlaners.

I run a tiny home business and have done so for about the last 3.5 years. We have grown year over year, have multiple locations, but I want to find a way to differentiate our company from an innovative standpoint. I feel like we are competing with all the other tiny house companies, and want to carve out a better niche, something no one else is doing, specifically to do with technology. I know there is a lot of technology being added in traditional homes, and I was curious if anyone had any advice on where to look, for some new technology in the home space, that we could possibly incorporate.

Here's a few ideas that I just had, some are not technology related but more focused around the functions and benefits to the target audience:
- tiny patio and integration with the surrounding environment
- tiny homes designed for specific locations (the woods, the beach, etc)
- fully energy autonomous houses. Can you make one that generates enough energy to sustain itself?
- innovation in waste handling for tiny houses
- infrared heating as an alternative to traditional central heating
- houses with multiple floors (makes me think about a lot of tiny homes I used to see in Japan. They master the art of maximizing small spaces, since land can be extremely expensive in downtown Tokyo)
- houses optimized for natural lighting

Smart access OS for homes

This makes me think about tiny homes designed to be rented as Airbnb spaces...

Hey, super interesting. Can you tell us more about your tiny house business. How does it work? Do you make and ship the houses to people?
