business from laddering, simple business example
cleaning business
-clean cars, house cleaning, industrial cleaning, warehouses, animals, etc
Maid/house cleaning is the easiest but least paid. Not requiring technical or sophisticated knowledge of sorts.
Construction cleaning, maybe a permit is needed, a specialized type of knowledge in the cleaning different types of buildings.
Chimney cleaning is similar to house cleaning, but requires more advanced equipment more skills, and energetic labor compared to "house cleaning" where you could scale to hire old people compared to more skilled demand on chimney cleaning because of more difficult equipment being used.
HVAC cleaning, HVAC knowledge for higher pay, and less frequent demand could be less recurring compared to maid cleaning, etc etc
Dropshipping/e-commerce which you need USPS (shipping company/providers) shipment, cutting into margin. Which is OK. You can't control that.
Let's be real, MOST people don't give a shit about helping people. Applying the CENTS or even knowing exactly what it is, they can't even know how to navigate the marketing for the shitty product they found.
It can't be 100% controlled. Shipping? Do you need to pay someone to do it, or what? You buy a plane to ship the item learn multiple languages able to navigate through the streets of Pakistan to deliver an item that costs 15$ with a margin of 10%, get real....
E-commerce is "difficult"! very labor intensive
Lots of software TOOLS, continuous market changes, spending on ads (which are getting expensive), financial intermediary holding your payout for 90days+ because they are a bunch of soy boys behind a computer is mad because you are making more money than them and they are seething.
SURE "CENTS" we are working there to get one until then, we flood the market on the path to making our CENTS
Control what you can, doesn't have to be EVERYTHING!
Why the idea generation is difficult
Most people aren't able to apply the ladder method because they leap, over-complicate, REACHING beyond their capabilities, and project outside of their expertise, to become an owning (unit) owner. Over exhausted with the number of ideas, sold a dream by figures like Iman Gahizi on Cucktube. BTW a proven fraud.
"rEmoTLy ConTRolL yOuR LIFE " or "WoRT GoNNA EnD 2024" or "yoUr LAzT ChANce to SAfA yo LeAGCY"
"StRAT wITHhhA 10 doLLarz"
The ladder method is great I'm very thankful for MJ to put it into words.
Start simple, and work towards higher technical types of stuff, at the same time, you need to understand how to make the offering shortly
Anyway, no expert here just thought this is the MOST important thing to point out. Everyone just talks about work, working blah blah blah bulllshit no step to say this.
Hosting domain, ads business account, Instagram, tik tok, blah blah blah,
not CENTS, can you make a business out of it? absolutely. Seems like everyone's favorite these days
*****DROPSHIPPING/E-COMMERCE
Another example, I could think of...
Car flipping/dealership
Flipping cars one by one, then buying more, when you have some savings from reselling the car multiple that over time by reinvesting into buying more cars and flipping continuously
Likely to be localized at first, then expanding into different avenues of marketing, expanding yourself outside your main city into other big territories, etc
buying higher-end cars, expanding into more competitive car types with higher margins, flipping into other businesses, destroying your competition, stealing from the bigger deals, etc.
until you can drive a Bugatti and live in Monaco be married blah blah
sAAS Dream
As for the SAAS software business, most people I believe would love to get a piece of this.
Virtually impossible to do it without a couple of years of WORKING in the industry without coding experiences.
The appeal of the SAAS business it has no overhead, great you can start from 0 and sell software or web pages for 500million dollarz, like Myspace TOM.
On the surface, they don't have overhead, but they paid with "years" of working in the tech industry. having knowledge, leverage, networks, who to pitch to, and EBITDA 10-20x do exist but most likely not for you.
Wrong probably most of the time people believe this dream is they are watching a lot of oversimplified videos on youtube, where the morons pitch in the video. they don't have a clue about how to build an API or even what it is.
morons looking for "SeEdZ funDIng"
V(ulture) Capitlistz, VCs, didn't get there by being a moron, you are pitching 10x more complicated product/service than you are compared to a brick and mortar business. if you aren't an engineer or have a tech background you have no chance
Unless you are a CS dude I would stay away from SAAS software business.
