I have been very uninvolved here the past month. The reason being, my dad was in a motorcycle accident at the beginning of July. He got out of the hospital after about a week, went back in a few days later with a blood clot in his lung, got back out about a week later, and now this past Friday he went back in again. He now has fluid in his chest cavity, pneumonia, and a blood infection. They also think the fluid in his chest cavity could be infected and causing his other problems. Needless to say he is in extreme pain even on morphine and oxycotin. Tomorrow he goes in for a surgery. If the fluid is not infected, it should be about a 1 hour surgery, if it is, it will involve more cutting and multiple hours. For anyone inclined, please lift him up in your prayers.

Thanks in advance.

Kurt,

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers- as well as you and the rest of your family.

Yikes, sorry to hear about this.

May I ask what is your Dad's first name? I'm a better prayer when I have a name .... Name or not, he will be in my prayers ... and for a complete recovery.

Kurt,

Your Father will be in my prayers along with you and your loved ones.

I also sent you a PM as I felt some of what I had to say was better to be said privately.

Andy

just a quick note before I head to the hospital to sit with my mom. Thank you everyone. I greatly appreciate it. My dad's name is also Kurt.

Thank you everyone who prayed, I cannot tell you how much it is appreciated. The surgery went well. The fluid turned out to be old blood instead of puss which they expected it to be. My dad is in the ICU in intense pain. To better illustrate, he is on an epidural and morphine and still registers his 1-10 pain levels above a 5. Hopefully he will be out of the ICU in a few days.

Thanks again everyone.

thank you once again everyone. My father is improving rapidly. Still no estimate on a date to get out of the hospital, but he is doing much better. Thanks again.
