I created an account here a little while ago but never introduced myself. I'm a 32 year old Software Engineer. I've been creating side projects for many years. I feel like each failure gets me closer to success because of what I learn each time.
I'm in the middle of reading MJ's book, and it's just amazing! When he talks about the slowlaner mindset and how they don't value their time, etc. It's exactly the kind of stuff I rant about all the time, to my wife. I'm so tired of being surrounded by people with zero ambition, and a loser mentality. Friends and family both.
I can't stand working for other people. 9 to 5 isn't normal. Life is about much more than that. Lately that feeling has gotten so much stronger, that I feel like something has to change NOW.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello. It feels great to be around people with a similar mindset.
