Hello, I hope whenever and wherever you're reading this you are having a wonderful day or night; and if you're not, that you will have one.
My age, 15 at the time of writing this, and the nature of the world that raised me, make me quite naive, reserved, not masculine (mentally and emotionally), and hard-wired to enjoy the path of least resistance and instant gratification.
I've enjoyed a privileged upbringing; my father is a businessman in insurance and my mother an accountant in the same field, but not for his company. I've experienced a normal (maybe upper) middle-class lifestyle, and I seem to have a promise of value in the Scripted way of life; I'm physically capable and skilled at soccer, my grades are typically perfect (my mother is Filipino), and I've got the support of my family. However, after reading The Millionaire Fastlane and being in the process of reading Unscripted , as well as numerous other self-improvement and entrepreneur/marketing/financial books (oh and watching Hamza. yeah, I'm one of those), I have begun to see why most people in this world in this life are so tremendously unhappy, they've been predisposed to unhappiness, and they are never even aware of their predisposition.
Anyway, that above information is stuff everyone here probably already knows, so I'll stop parroting MJ and everyone else I've read now. In any case, I don't want to join that rat-race for the sake of participating in it, ever. It genuinely frightens me. And as of now I'm beginning my process of un-conditioning, relearning, and changing myself into what I'm genuinely supposed to be. Some might call this me trying to reach self-actualization. Unfortunately, or fortunately, money is a thing and I have figured that self-actualization is most enjoyable and easiest to engage into when money is not an issue. Due to this original thought, and then the subsequent and current research involved with it, my goal before the next decade is to reach financial freedom.
I've had many people (friends and some family, even my girlfriend [who might I add is very on board with my ideas and goals {bruh, why tf did I feel the need justifying that to people online. funny}]) ask me why I'd do this, I'm a kid after all I should be enjoying life, not stressing about the future, living in the moment, focusing on school more than anything, and building my resume. I can do that all later, sure I only get to go to high school once, but I've found all that I need to and seen all that I want to in my freshman year. Plus, I don't believe I'd reminisce too much my memory is terrible.
Regardless, I've already started on my way to financial freedom, and I feel like I'd spew some noncoherent rambling/information about myself here (i really dont know why maybe im a narcissist or something). I'd appreciate any advice that anyone has to offer me. God loves you, I love you. Have a great today and tomorrow.
