I am here with you for more than a year. The principles of MJ`s book have grown deep roots into my skull while I was working my night shifts on a factory for a near-minimum wage. And more than a year in they are still there when I go buy the piece of equipment more expensive than the car which will carry it to the work site.
One of the side effects of those principles is that while I am focusing on the task at hand, I am still looking sideways to spot gaps in service, areas of improvement and so on. Something one could have built a business on. And there is one opportunity I see for like 3-4 years and still do not know how would one leverage it. So I post it here if anyone can advise me on smth. My current entreprenerial project leaves me with much time and money to spare so this might be my next destination.
So, the opportunity. I am an Israeli citizen and live here in Israel. And what I found out is that Israel is unique in a way that it has a very good will from both US and China. We literally have "free 1 week delivery" from both Amazon and AliExpress. And as I can see, we as a country do much about it - Israel is full with factories where Chinese materials are formed into Israeli electronics components (like Vishay) or components are soldered onto a PCB and assembled into something working (like the Flex factory I worked on where we made network switches). Even as labor force here is expensive it seems to be profitable to do it here due to this political haven.
And this political good will is very robust. It is firstly military, secondly religious and only thirdly economical. I really can`t see Trump`s tariff wars coming to us in any way in the near future.
We are a small country which only last year has crossed the 10 million population mark. There is no way we have already saturated the US market with this "buy from China, make it Israeli and send to US" scheme. So where to look firther? I only can think of inventors from the top of my head as I`ve looked on the matter for some time. Any other suggestions?
If anyone have some partnering ideas I can put my time, money, connections and Israeli ID into - that I will gladly consider.
