This past week, I recently started a White Label Partnership with a Lead Generation Company to perform Lead Generation for 3 of my clients.
I've already paid the company + Those 3 clients are currently going through the onboarding process to create the lead gen campaign before the company begins their lead gen service.
However, I've found Freelancers who can do what that Lead Generation Company does (at the same quality + a much cheaper cost + I'll have more control going forward).
I want to instead have my clients served by the Freelancers (who I outsource to). Therefore, I'm planning to switch immediately to the Freelancers once the clients complete the onboarding process (As the lead gen company is creating their campaign for my clients which is apart of what I've paid them for).
But I need to take my 3 clients before they begin, so I can use the Campaign that the lead gen company has created for my clients - which is half of the work that I paid them to do.
The other half is the execution which I want my freelancer to do instead.
However, I'm concerned that the Lead Generation Company may get thrown off by the idea that I'm taking my 3 clients with me right before they're about to begin the campaign.
Do you see any risks (eg. the lead gen company tries to poach my clients directly, they get angry, etc) if I do this?
I need a reason to give to the lead gen company that won't rock any boats of exiting my 3 clients, so it prevents them from doing anything.
Maybe I'm being paranoid, but I just want to prevent any negative consequences.
PS: No agreement was signed with me and the lead gen company. I just paid them via CC on the company's website for their white label service for each of my clients. I don't care if the Lead Generation Company keeps the $ that I already paid them as it's not a big deal either. I just want to switch to my new Freelancer now, instead of later before the entire Lead Generation Service begins for my 3 clients.
