How Much is TOO MUCH For a Membership Subscription Rebill?

Does anyone have experience with upselling a membership in their post-purchase funnel or something along these lines?

If I offer a monthly recurring fee for membership in a community that offers discounts, tutorials, tips, etc how much would you charge for this?

$19, $49, $149?

Any thoughts? Any experiences? Any observations you guys have?

What is the value of the membership to the customers?

It all depends on how relevant it is to the customers on your website, if it is extremely valuable and relevant you can charge a higher price.

If it is not as valuable but extremely relevant you can charge less to compensate for the lack of value.

If it is not as relevant but extremely valuable, you will need to educate them first so you would be better off driving them to a page or a funnel that educates them first.

What exactly does your membership offer? Are you saying it offers discounts, tutorials, etc or that the community you want to sell to is a community that offers discounts, tutorials, etc.?

Lately I'm a fan of low ticket to get people in, to make it easier to add more value than they're paying, and to generate word-of-mouth. Like Laurel Portie is doing here:
