I hope my title was catchy enough for you to want to click on it and read about it.
Last week I decided to buy 10 000 Euro worth of Long Euro, Short USD, Eur/USD with a leverage of 5.
I believe that the US is in a bubble because of artificially low interest rates, I also think that the government will want to try to stimulate jobs by weakening the $. At the moment one Euro is 1.08$.
I think the usd will drop to 1.45 or worse. Exactly when I cant say, I give the purchase several years.
Since last week the dollar weakened by 1% already so Im up 500€.
My other prediction is that air france-klm is going to go down VERY hard within 2-7 years, they are a huge mess and even a very smart person will have a hard time turning that around. I think the brand image that they created with the first movers advantage isnt going to survive in this industry.
As you can tell my strategy is to buy and wait for what I think will happen in the long term. I do this with a part of the money thats sitting around in cash.
