Here's a project I really battled with, in pretty much every respect – practically, psychologically, emotionally, everything.
It's a project that I'm probably now marking down as a mistake. There's probably a lesson in here somewhere.
The mistake... I turned down an offer from a production company to collaborate with me to create a course. They had the gear, expertise and in return they'd take 50% of sales.
I declined and decided to do it ALL myself because I thought 'well, I can do that, 50% is crazy'.
And I could do that but I underestimated the sheer amount of work, skill and time it takes to produce a course AND sell it. The offer of 50% now looks great considering I'm offering up to 50% anyway on affiliate commissions.
So I see this as a mistake. Or at least a lesson.
This project took me at least x4 times longer than it should. I kept giving up, getting back on it, giving up.
But I learnt a TON of stuff.
