Recently I came across a social media site/app known as wildfire that was bought by google for 400$ million.

The guy who developed Dropbox a free online storage app is now worth 400$ million.

If you create a valuable service that fulfills a need but doesn't necessarily sell anything could you liquidate it for BIG$$$ ?
