I started doing Web Design as a freelancer a while ago, started very slow because I had some personal things going on but now I'm wanting to take on more but I don't know how I'll handle it all. I feel like I could be doing so much more but at the same time I feel limited (which might be limits I put myself). What would you do? It's become frustrating where I can't ever relax because I want to work on the business, but then I also don't make any money because I feel like I can't take on more clients. I know there's definitely other highschool students making a ton of money so I must be missing something.
Or maybe I'm not trying hard enough, if from an outside perspective it seems like I'm just limiting myself and making excuses please point that out

Study time management skills and see if it helps.

Google Calvin Newport and David Allen. One for school work productivity. One for general al aspect productivity.

My thoughts on this is that you need to choose your clients carefully.

When I worked in freelance copywriting, I've found it A LOT easier to just have 2-3 major clients who had more consistent work for me, consistent fees, and yes...good management systems. Juggling like 5-6 clients is like...crazy, man. I never wanna go thru that shit again.

You have to go back to how you landed your clients.

In your earlier calls, have they expressed they needed MORE help in other areas- that you could help them out with?
Are they willing to pay more for your extra services?

If you can do so, then just raise your rates. And even add more to your range of permanent services, if the clients like your work.

Of course, you might turn away some clients with the new arrangements. But as long you know how to sell, and you find some common patterns in landing new clients to get a strategy that works for you...you can always refill your pipeline.

Just take it on as you go. School is basically like having a 9-5 job. Try to block out your time so you can get a lot of work done distraction free then on the weekend if you really need you can chill for a few hours although weekends are the most pivotal as you get a whole 2 days to your self. I think you'll also improve your dopamine reward system by doing less of the "bread and circus" activies like drugs, porn,tv,video games, etc and focusing on filling your days with more good stuff.
