My lawn care business is gaining traction, first time in many years and many failures that a business project has ever succeeded. I'm very happy, but also dreading the off season. Could be as early as October for all I know. Even in Florida people are saying the grass stops growing and dies. I expect a lot of cancellations unless I have a plan.
What do you guys do to save your customers? Is there a swap-in that most of them say yes to, to keep billing going? My average customer wants a bi-weekly mow so we're bringing in around $80 to $90 per month per customer. I'm weighing Christmas lights, winter prep work (unsure what exactly), maybe pressure washing or even interior cleaning if my mowers will do that work to avoid a layoff.
