Hello folks!
What is it that makes "Home Service Businesses" like cleaning, lawn care, HVAC so attractive? It feels like i am missing something...
I see a lot of PE funds rolling up these businesses right now all over Europe. But what makes them so attractive for investors.
Right now there are also a lot of these very small businesses (probably under the PE treshhold) wit 5-10 employees for sale in my area.
Even though there are some funds buying small businesses with 20+ employees in different cities. I can not see the advantage.
For me it looks like a labour intensive work with a lot of price competition through lead gen or service-auction pages that only scales with more people.
What am i missing here? How can these businesses scale?
