I've been going through a pre-midlife crisis (not quite midlife yet or at least not willing to admit it 
), a f*** this event, or whatever you want to call it, but I'm tired of selling my time to the highest bidder and doing work that is killing my soul. God blessed me, although sometimes it feels like a curse, with the gift of questioning, so The Script is something I've always challenged and have told myself that SOMEDAY I would start my own business. Well, the weight of the potential that I'm not living up to has gotten heavier and heavier and I'm no longer satisfied with someday. I'm committing myself to take action towards my goal of creating something of value to put into the world and building a life of autonomy and freedom.
I have ideas but no clue where to start which is what brought me to this forum. @MJ DeMarco's books have been incredibly valuable in helping me identify opportunities and, in the little browsing I've done so far, I can see this forum is a gold mine. I'm grateful to MJ for sharing his insights as well as everyone else contributing to this forum and hope I can deliver some value as well. In the past I've been more of a lurker but recognize that hasn't gotten me where I want to be, hence this introduction. I'm happy to be here!
