Hey everybody! My name is Cade - I'm a budding entrepreneur living in West Palm Beach. I am a junior in college, working full-time as a political consultant and digital strategist.
I've been trying for a long time to identify the feeling of dissatisfaction I've experienced recently. I love my work, I make an incredible amount of money for a student my age, yet I am not content. I've realized what it is - I'm not making progress towards a Fastlane lifestyle. I've been a budding entrepreneur since I was 8. I've started idea after idea, failing at most - but learning from them all. I've lost that, and it's time to re-connect with it.
This forum is a goldmine of great ideas, clever execution, and like-minded encouragement. You take ephemeral concepts and ideas I've had and humanize them - just by talking about it. For instance, a supplement line is something I would never consider myself capable of executing, yet just that is one of my new ideas.
I currently own and operate a business front for my political efforts. I'm an operative for hire - meaning, I work on and around political campaigns and causes to get people and ideas pushed forwards. I've built a sterling reputation for a) winning b) over-delivering on quality and c) winning. These factors combined have pushed me into some very influential and affluential circles. Most recently, I ran and won the sitting Mayor's re-election campaign for a 70,000 person town.
My immediate goal is to leverage this. I have contacts in the local business community, and a home-field advantage when it comes to pitching digital marketing. I'm young, hip, knowledgeable, yet I'm relatable to B&M businesses, as I operate in the same circles and know the same people as they do. Every business in my city needs a digital presence, and it's my goal to provide that for them. I hope to finally step into the Fastlane by outsourcing a lot of the grunt work to a few hand-selected VA's. (SEO, copywriting, Social Media Management, Project Management, Database work, ad campaign analysis, web design, data scraping, etc.) I want my only job to be client acquisition and quality control - and I'd like to move into outsourcing or streamlining even those.
On a side note, I have some depth of experience with Real Estate, penny stock trading, strategic (growth + planning) consulting, and Craigslist arbitrage. These things all thoroughly interest me, and I'd love to continue to learn more, and maybe even get my toes wet on some of the bigger stuff.
Sorry for the bit of a ramble. I'm very excited to finally be a part of this community, and I'm looking forward to learning and growing with you guys going forward.
Thanks,
CM
