Hey guys,
I've been reading this forum for quite some time and finally decided to register.
First, I'd like to thank MJ for writing this book. I've been reading a lot of books in the last 6 months but his book has stuck with me like no other. Thanks for showing me/us that the life we desire is possible and within reach. I guess the best way to pay you back is following the path you showed us. I'll be forever grateful.
Second, thanks and my utmost respect to all members who contribute to this forum information, advice, their progress, and their experiences for free.
I've never seen a place with such an abundance of useful and straightforward advice than the fastlaneforum. It's a blessing that I found it so early in my life. I'll do my very best to reach my personal business and life goals to do the same with others.
I'm 19 years old and from Germany. The desire to become an entrepreneur came about in summer 2015. I was studying at university and suddenly realized that I was trapped in the traditional way of thinking. I hadn't been aware of it but it made me rethink my life, career plans and goals.
I immersed myself in books, online magazines and youtube videos to learn about busineess, entrepreneurship, mindset and whatnot.
That was in July 2015.
Fast forward to now and I haven't done anything productive except for reading success stories of other people instead of building my own.
It's hard not to be angry about ''wasting'' almost 2 years of my precious youth but it is what it is.
I've finally decided to stop pretending to be an entrepreneur and start to be one. I've realized that I have to work for the life that I want to live. I'm not going to get it for free and that's okay. Working toward a goal and having a business that provides value to people, and to call it my own sounds like an amazing thing. I'm sure all of you will agree.
Anyway, I'm very happy to join such a great community. The people around me don't have the same mindset nor are they willing to risk something in order to create a fulfilling life. That's okay but I need people who think and act like me and I believe that I found the right place.
Here's to a great journey! I'll be working hard to make sure that I can give back to this community.
Thanks again.
Marius
