I know we have a lot of givers here and I wanted to share a neat opportunity I have been made aware of.
An aid org that I know some folks with has been given a brand new well drilling rig and truck to send to Africa (CAR). The problem is that they now need to raise 45k to ship it over. Approx 5k has been raised to date.
I was told by folks who are familiar with the region, this would need to take place by October due to rainy season ending and the river being depleted after that (not able to float up the river).
So I just wanted to put this out there for those of you who are givers and are looking for a good cause to support.
