Hey Guys,

I'm seeking some advice here. After 2O years of working in the music industry and doing ok for myself along the way, my lack of school and the bad lifestyle choices that came with the industry finally caught up with me accelerated by being a victim of fraud and having my business partners in my main business, a recording studio illegally trying to oust me after embezzling me out of my money and credit... This sucks because I came here to the states in 2006 as an immigrant with zero credit and I built it to an 809 credit score before this all went down. Very frustrating.

More on this later but right now my question is ...

Income has slowed down, I have just had a child and I own no major assets. I have some funds put away that I was hoping to keep for a house or business investment, but due to the current climate, I'm starting to dig into it which is making me a little anxious and overwhelmed. I'm basically here looking for ideas on where to start with a realistic investment without leaving myself broke. I had a lot more but now I'm not in a position to invest much more than 50k on something that is relatively solid. I need to secure the future while creating an income in the meantime any advice you or ideas you may have I'm open to anything within reason lol.

I just need to turn things around. I had signed up for real estate school a few years back and never got time to complete it so I may do that just to have the license to fall back on or as a supplemental education etc.

If you guys want to read more about the situation mentioned above and may be able to offer some advice on that or know an attorney in CA who would be willing to help please check out this thread and let me know. Thank you so much.
