Hi guys, thank you for all your value you bring every day.
I’m facing a major dilemma. My goal is to start rolling serious on a business.
I’m finishing my degree in Mechatronics Engineering (fortunately a free university, so debt free). My final project involved refurbishing a testing machine for civil engineering, a street material testing machine which involved sensor values reading, a pneumatics/electrical control system and a graphic user interface --Sounds cool after reading it haha.
I see some opportunities where I could apply my skills — for example, repairing a robotic arm or creating automation solutions for some business here in my country.
On the other hand, I’ve been working as a freelance copywriter for almost two years as a side hustle, mainly doing email marketing.
I’ve worked (and still work) with a very successful Mexican entrepreneur and with his real estate company. And have like 5 testimonials on the pocket of personal brands I've worked with ( = slaved myself) (learned a lot).
So I’m also considering offering ad-management services for real estate projects here in Punta del Este. I don’t currently know how to run ads, just the marketing strategy and copywriting, but my idea was to start by talking to these companies to understand how they’re doing and what they would like to improve to Act, Assess & Adjust.
Which path do you think will be more valuable over the next 10–20 years?
I’m finding it very difficult to decide and I wanted to know you guy's opinion before asking any of my (not much entrepeneurial) family members)
Thank you in advance
