Help Me Name My Book / Website

So, we have written a book.

How - To develop a self storage facility

Anyway, we have the domain name: www.selfstoragestartup.com

But, for the book itself, that seems pretty bland.

We are looking for: catchy but not hype.

Know what I mean? Self Storage Start Up is just so darn bland.

It isn't catchy.

Any ideas?

You need something with a hook, something that a potential reader would say "Oh yea, I like the way that sounds!!"

Yep, the question is really why they would be reading "How - To develop a self storage facility". Then appeal to that "why" - this provides the "hook".

Is it to make money by building a business and selling it?
Is it to make money by renting it out and creating cash flow?
Is it for personal control over your items and greater privacy and security?

So really, you're not selling a book on how to develop a self-storage facility.. but a book on something that appeals to a person's personal need or desire, and developing a self-storage facility is the means to that end.

Thanks MJ. I agree. It is a highly under recognized industry for wealth building...

People think of self storage as "passive income" but it is actually a great way to built net worth / capital if you do it correctly. It is a missed opportunity.

If we can somehow incorporate that potential into the title.

Basically.... why choose this (self storage) as your vehicle to financial freedom. And, if you do choose this vehicle, this is how to do it....

Anything with the rat could be developed into a cool logo with a stuffed rat opening the unit doors, etc... so many ways to play that one. Check the legalities for 1800-pack-rat, but that could help or hurt you actually. Their marketing may carry over, if you know what I mean.


I like Kurts idea....like the Ten by Ten Millionaire, cover would include bare concrete inside a unit, incorporating tape measures and such to illustrate the idea without words. Perhaps boxes of cash? lol Of course with your logo on the box to bring the viewer inside the unit rather than an exterior pic.

On the spline could be a panoramic of an SS cluster from the front, with the sign being the title of your book.

That would catch my eye on the bookshelf.

I think the "how to make millions..." lingo is good but it is already on too many book covers.

"Empire" and "Massive Wealth" are a couple of terms you don't see as often, and they both evoke positive emotions. :smxB:
