My name is Kurt. I come to the forum as an aspiring fastlaner.
I am currently finishing up the book. I have to say that the majority of the book is speaking to things i've already known deep down.
I currently sell insurance and financial services, but have always been vocal about the BS that any of us "own" our business. Also, I find myself wondering why i'm putting so much effort forward when in reality they could change the rules at any time.
Needless to say, the book resonates with me. Also, I've always wanted to do my own thing. I come from an entrepreneurial family. My family has owned a manufacturing company for over 40 years, while it has provided for several generations it is going downhill fast in the current economy as it is related to the RV industry. Long story short, I've seen the freedom that business can bring, I've also seen the chains that owning a "job" can have.
I'm looking to learn how to get my ideas moving and begin the process to my fastlane.
