Hello everyone.
I don't really know if I am in the right place here, but I thought I would give it a go... better than sitting around and speculating. I do a lot of boating stuff, and usually when I need advice I go to a forum. Now I need advice again, so I thought I should go to a forum and ask... DOH! And now I learned about those 3 books.... I will definitely give them a go! I tried some other ones, but they didn't seem to answer the questions I have, and to be honest, seemed a little divergent from what I am trying to do. They had some very good to know stuff, but not exactly on topic.
I've been wanting to start a business of sorts for a little while, but damn, the self doubt thing just keeps popping up! Ugh! I have been reselling boats since I was 15, and that is going sort of ok, but not growing fast enough. Very long "cycle time" is hampering things for me. By "cycle time" I mean the amount of time passed between when I buy something and when I sell it. No, I don't spend a lot of my time on it, its just that my operating capital is tied up for a long time. Anyways, on the plus side I have learned a lot. That includes learn the easy way instead of the hard and expensive way when possible; which is what I am here to do.
Every now and then I have an idea kicking around, but it kind of gets laughed off as a joke... not funny! So now, I decided to get my shiz together and give things a go, especially since I have plenty of free time currently. I do know some things from the stuff I have done, but I don't have the puzzle complete yet. I hope some will help me with this! And now I will go and post about my particular questions in the appropriate forum!
