Hi all! The name's Alex (or Axel, to some) and I'm from Switzerland. Like most here, I guess, I got into this by realizing that all my dreams would slowly burn out and die with the way things were going in my cushy-but-not-paying-as-much-as-I'd-like-job. Found The Millionaire Fastlane recently and thought: "Yes! Finally! This was the shove I bloody needed!" Unfortunately, I'm also quite late to the party. Closing in on 40 and really, really wish I had found the book, or at least the mindset the book inspires, 20 years ago. Can't exactly wind back the clock, so, here I am, trying to see if I can still make this work. I don't have my own business yet, still saving up a bit so I will have a tiny bit of buffer when I take the cold plunge. After that, let's see if I can beat the odds and actually build wealth in this overregulated little country. Cheers, and looking forward to talking with all of you.
