Hi everyone.
This is my second year in business for myself. I picked up MJ's book after reading a blog post on SmartPassiveIncome. I'm only about half-way through right now, but felt the need to get involved in this forum ASAP. It has already had a dramatic affect on my mindset. Themes such as valuing time over money and the difference between being a producer and consumer have really hit home.
Trust me, I have a long history of consumption.
Anyway, what I hope to get out of this forum is an opportunity to socialize with other entrepreneurs (I have none in my immediate circle of friends). I'm also hoping to actually meet face-to-face with other members who might be in the Rochester area. I have ideas, technical skills, and a couple of businesses I'm growing, but seriously lack a good entrepreneurial network.
Oh, some quick stats: I'm 39, have a wonderful wife and family and have a background in Web development, project/product management, SEO, and technical writing.
