My name is Andrea, I am 49 years old, and ready to start my own business. I’ve not worked consistently outside of the home for over 21 years and have been a Stay-at-home parent to my two daughters. One is now 21 and enrolled in college. She’s trying to major in finance, but our university is one of the few in the country that actually offer a degree in entrepreneurship, which is what I am encouraging her to do. My younger daughter is a junior in high school, so I am trying to get her prepared for the next steps in her journey. My goals are to. I have money to get a divorce so I can get personal freedom, I have money to help my parents who lived on the sidewalk and are now in their 70s and struggling financially. I also want to be able to encourage other family members to start their own businesses and be able to invest in their start ups. And I want to be able to move away from Georgia to someplace beautiful, with a view of the Rocky Mountains right now, I am thinking Santa Fe, New Mexico, Boulder, Colorado, or Colorado Springs. I am trying to have real concrete high level goals so that I can only meet them, but exceed them.
